Original audio CD for audio tests

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2013 BMW X5, 2012 BMW X5, and 2011 BMW X5. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

In the best case scenario, the audio system must be tested with the original audio CD (CDDA - Compact Disk Digital Audio). An original audio CD (CDDA - Compact Disk Digital Audio) is a CD that was created according to the "RED BOOK" standard. With this standard, the stereo audio data is stored with a 16 bit resolution and a sampling rate of 44.1 kHz. This standard warrants a high quality requirement to which the audio system is adjusted. An original audio CD (CDDA - Compact Disk Digital Audio) has the following logo.
