Favorite buttons

The favorite buttons are programmable buttons.
The favorite buttons permit storage of the following functions for more rapid access (depending on the optional extras):
- Storage of radio stations (AM, FM, digital tuner, in the US version also weatherband)
- Access to CD or CD changer
- Phone numbers
- AUX-In connection

The favorite buttons contain a capacitive sensor that reacts to contact.
- Short contact:
short description of the button assignment
- Long contact:
detailed description of the button assignment
- Short button pressing:
activating of the button assignment
- Long button pressing:
storage of the function currently shown in the Central Information Display (CID).
The assignment of all favorite buttons can be deleted in the menu "Settings" -> "Vehicle". The assignment of favorite buttons is described in detail in the Owner's Manual.
