63 31 182 Replacing LED for front inside door opener

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove FRONT DOOR TRIM

NOTE: Operation is shown by way of example on the E70. There may be differences in detail in the case of other vehicle models.

Remove sheathing of wiring harness (1) in area (A) and remove wiring harness holder (2).

Cut through wiring harness (1) in area (A) and remove LED for front inside door opener (3).

Installation:

Adapt length of wiring harness of new LED for front inside door opener.

Connect wiring harness of new LED for front inside door opener using BUTT CONNECTORS to wiring harness (1).

Wrap wiring harness (1) in insulating tape.
