51 11 157 Replacing front bumper trim

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Version with Park Distance Control (PDC): 

Remove ultrasonic sensor. See FRONT ULTRASONIC SENSOR (CENTER) and FRONT ULTRASONIC SENSOR (SIDE) .

Unclip wiring harness (1) at points (2).

Installing trim (2) for grille: 

Remove ribs (1) from trim (2) completely.

Attach trim (1) to bumper trim.

NOTE: Make sure catches (2) and lugs (3) are correctly seated.

Secure trim (1) with retainers (2).

NOTE: Retainers (2) must press trim (1) fully onto bumper trim.

Also secure retainers (2) with adhesive.

NOTE: Pretreat adhesive area with cleaner and primer from plastic repair box.

Read and comply with notes and instructions included in plastic repair box.
