11 28 010 Removing and installing or replacing drive belt for alternator (M57T2-SCR)

Necessary preliminary work: 

Check drive belt for coolant and oil residues, replace if necessary.

IMPORTANT: The drive belt must be replaced if it is contaminated with hydraulic fluid.
NOTE: If the drive belt is to be reused, mark direction of travel and reinstall drive belt in same direction of travel.
IMPORTANT: Belt tensioner is under spring pressure.

Relieve tension on belt tensioner (1) in direction of arrow.

Remove drive belt (2).

Assemble engine.
