11 43 000 Removing and installing/sealing guide tube for oil dipstick (M57T2-SCR)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove REINFORCEMENT PLATE (E70 only).
Drain and add ENGINE OIL .

Release positive starter motor wire (3) from bracket.

Detach fuel delivery line (1) from bracket.

Detach fuel return line (4) from bracket.

Release screw (2).

Tightening torque: 11 13 4AZ .

Release electrical wiring (2) from bracket.

Release screw (1).

Tightening torque: 11 13 4AZ .

Remove guide tube (3) in direction of arrow.

Installation note:

Replace sealing ring.

When installing, apply a thin coating of lubricant on sealing ring.

Assemble engine.
