12 51 200 Replacing wiring harness section for injectors (M57T2) (Version 2)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Read out fault memory of DDE control unit; if necessary, work through test schedules
Switch off ignition
Remove intake air manifold

E60:

Unlock cover (1) with slide (3).

Unfasten screws (2).

Remove electronics box cover (1).

Unlock and disconnect plug on control unit.

E83:

Unfasten screws.

Remove cover (1).

Unlock and disconnect plug on control unit.

E90:

Unlock fasteners (1) from below and slide upwards approx. 10 mm.

Unlock slide (2) in direction of arrow.

Remove cover (3).

Unlock and disconnect plug on control unit.

Pull out lock (1) in direction of arrow.

Press out plug (2) in direction of arrow.

Unlock plug (1) and remove.

Unfasten screws.

Remove cable duct (2) with wiring harness.

NOTE: Now clear the fault memory.
