61 35 001 Removing and installing trailer module

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove FLAP IN RIGHT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT WHEEL ARCH TRIM

E70:

Fold insulating mat towards the top.

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Unlock latch mechanism (2) and pull out trailer module (3) from equipment holder (4).
