- Renew engine oil and oil filter. See 11 00... ENGINE OIL SERVICE (M57T2) , 11 00... SERVICE - ENGINE OIL (N55) or 11 00... SERVICE - ENGINE OIL (N63) .
- RESET CBS display according to factory specification.

- Replace air filter element. See 13 72 001 REPLACE THE AIR FILTER ELEMENT (M57T2 WITH AND WITHOUT SCR) , 13 72 001 REPLACING AIR FILTER ELEMENT (N55) or 13 72 002 REPLACING BOTH AIR FILTER ELEMENTS (N63) .
- Petrol vehicles only:
Replace spark plugs . See 12 12 011 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING ALL SPARK PLUGS (N53, N54, N54T, N55, N63, S63) .
- Diesel vehicles only:
- Replace FUEL FILTER .
- Only for M-Performance E70 X5 M50dX and E71 X6 M50dX:
Renew front axle transmission oil
- Only in vehicles with SA109 Security Plus (during every 3rd engine oil service)
