13 62 560 Removing and installing/replacing left or right air-mass flow sensor (N63)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Read out fault memory of DME control unit
Switch off ignition
Remove acoustic cover. See 13..... REMOVING ACOUSTIC COVERS (N63) .

Picture shows the left side, the procedure for the right side is identical.

Unlock plug (1) and remove.

Release screws (2).

Tightening torque: 13 62 6AZ .

Pull air-mass flow sensor (3) out of upper section of intake filter housing.

Installation:

Replace gasket on air-mass flow sensor.

NOTE: Check stored fault message.
Now clear the fault memory.
