32 41 333 Replacing Pressure Line For Dynamic Drive (line part 1) (N63, S63)

Recycling: 

Catch and dispose of hydraulic fluid in a suitable container.

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Draw off and dispose of hydraulic fluid from fluid reservoir
• Lower front axle support  . See LOWERING/RAISING FRONT AXLE SUPPORT (SWZ00-2040) or LOWERING/RAISING FRONT AXLE SUPPORT (UNIVERSAL LIFTER) .

Release hexagon socket screws from flange (1) and detach pressure line from power steering pump.

Tightening torque: 32 41 16AZ .

Seal pressure line and power steering pump connection with suitable sealing plugs.

Installation note: 

Replace all sealing rings.

Make sure pressure line is laid without tension and with sufficient spacing to adjoining components.

Unscrew nuts (1).

Tightening torque: 32 41 8AZ .

Release hexagon socket screw (2).

Tightening torque: 32 41 17AZ .

Installation note: 

Replace self-locking nut.

Make sure pressure line (3) is laid without tension and with sufficient spacing to adjoining components.

Release screws (1) and remove heat shield (2).

Tightening torque: 32 41 7AZ .

Installation note: 

Make sure pressure line (3) is laid without tension and with sufficient spacing to adjoining components.

Release hexagon socket screws from flange (1).

Tightening torque: 32 41 16 AZ .

After installation: 

• Fill and bleed HYDRAULIC SYSTEM 
• Check pipe connections for leaks
• Carry out INITIAL DYNAMIC DRIVE OPERATION
