Loosen screws (1).

Unclip line (2).

Release belt tensioner (1) on screw (2) in direction of arrow (refer to following steps).

Special tool 2 365 291 to relieve belt tensioner.

Position special tool 2 365 291 on the deflecting element of the belt tensioner.

Unclip fuel lines on holder (1).

Relieve belt tensioner with special tool 2 365 291 in direction of arrow.

Operation needs to be carried out by a second person helping.

Secure belt tensioner (1) in place with special tool 11 0 390.

NOTE: If special tool 11 0 390 cannot be mounted, the engine on the engine mount must be pressed lightly in the direction of arrow with mounting lever (1) (max. 3 mm).

Tighten down screws (1).

Tightening torque: 11 00 2AZ .

Required reworking:

Install front UNDERBODY PROTECTION
Install front right WHEEL ARCH COVER
Install UPPER BULKHEAD COVER
Install the STRUT BRACE
