62 30 005 Removing and installing/replacing trim for Head-Up Display

Special tools required:

When working on trim panel components, make sure that visible surfaces are not scratched or damaged (e.g. by sharp-edged tools).

Removal:

Loosen and remove the trim for the head-up display (1) from the retaining clips (2) using special tool 00 9 325.

Installation:

NOTE: The clamps (2) on the trim for the head-up display (1) must not be missing or damaged.

Insert the trim for the head-up display (1) in the instrument panel trim and clip into the clamps (2).

NOTE: Check the trim for the head-up display (1) is secured and engaged correctly with the instrument panel trim.
