Replace the right cylinder head cover

• Loosen screw (1)  .
• Remove the plate (2)  .
• Guide out and remove the pressure sensor (3)  at the cylinder head cover.

• Check the O-ring (1)  for damage and replace it if necessary.

• Position the pressure sensor (3)  on cylinder head cover.
• Position the plate (2)  .
• Tighten down screw (1)  .

• Loosen screws (1)  .
• Remove the sealing cap (2)  .
• Replace O-ring (3)  .

• Position the sealing cap (2)  .
• Tighten down screws (1)  .

  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
  
  

  Sealing cap on cylinder head cover
  M6x25 screw	tightening torque	10 Nm

• Remount clamps (1)  on the cylinder head cover (2)  .

• Loosen screws (2)  .
• Remove camshaft position sensors (1)  .

Check 

• Check O-rings (1)  on the camshaft position sensors for damage.

  Result 

  » O-ring (1)  damaged

  Measure 

  • Replace O-ring (1)  .

  Result 

  » O-ring (1)  not damaged.

  Measure 

  • Continue the repair in the next step.
• Coat O-ring of camshaft position sensor with engine oil.
• Position camshaft position sensors (1)  .
• Tighten down screws (2)  .

• Position the liquid-vapor separator (2)  .
• Tighten down screws (1)  .
