Installing the catalytic converter for cylinders 1 to 6

• Replace seal (1)  on catalytic converter.

• If necessary, replace clamp (1)  .

  Parts:  cl

• Feed in catalytic converter for cylinders 1 to 6 and secure with circlip (1)  .
• Tighten clamp.
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
  
  

  Catalytic converter to exhaust turbocharger
  cl Replace clamp after disassembly.	Tightening torque	14 Nm

• For vehicles without a gasoline particulate filter 

  Replace screws (1)  .

  Parts:  Screws

• Tighten bolts (1)  of catalytic converter (2)  .

  M8 Replace screws.	Tightening torque	28 Nm

• For vehicles with a gasoline particulate filter 

  Replace screws (1)  .

• Tighten the screws (1)  .

  M8 Replace screws.	Tightening torque	28 Nm

• Click the line (2)  to the differential pressure sensor into the mount of the catalytic converter.
• For vehicles with a gasoline particulate filter 

  Connect the line to the differential pressure sensor to the catalytic converter and tighten the union nut (1)  .

• Install holder (2)  .
• Replace screws (1)  .

• Tighten down screws (1)  .

  M8x16 Replace screws.	Tightening torque	21 Nm

• Install retaining plate (2)  on right on transmission.
• Tighten nuts (1)  .

  Retaining plates for vehicle underbody cover
  Sheet metal nut/plastic nut Replace nuts.	Tightening torque	3 Nm

• Install the rear underbody protection (2)  .
• Tighten down screws (1)  .
