Replacing the support for the front bumper cover

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

• Loosen expanding rivet (1).
• Detach the bumper cover (2) from the guide (3).
• Replace the support for the front bumper cover.

• Attach the bumper cover (2) to the support.

• Loosen the expanding rivet (1).
• Remove the air duct (2).
• Attach the air duct (2) to the support.

• Remove the adjusting element (1).
• Unscrew the screw (2) and remove the holder (3).
• Attach the adjusting element (1) and the holder (3) to the support.
• Tighten down screw (2).
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
  
  

  Z support to support
  	Tightening torque	8 Nm

• Loosen screws (1).
• Tighten the screws (1) on the support.

  Support on vertical connection
  M6x20 screw	Tightening torque	11.8 Nm

• Drill out rivet (1).
• Loosen screws (2).
• Remove support (3).
• Attach the support (3).
• Tighten down screws (2).
• Set the rivet (1).
