Removing Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic Components Rep-Alg-Rag1141-4105307-V.2 (All 7' Series Models 2016-2022)

1. General information: 
   WARNING: Observe notes for WORK SAFETY !
   Draw off dust, vapor and gases!
   Use personal protective clothing/equipment.

   Separate workbay by means of mobile partition walls or protective curtains.

   In case of excessive contamination with Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic dust, clean the working area with a vacuum cleaner and wipe the surfaces with a damp cloth.

2. Release of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic components 

   Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic parts are connected to the body with adhesive and blind rivets.

   To release the connection, drill out the blind rivet head or grind it off.

   Push out blind rivet remnants.

   If the Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic component is being replaced, heat and release Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic component with a hot air blower.

   If the Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic component must remain undamaged, heat the component with a blowtorch. Do not direct the flame directly onto the Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic component. Protect the surrounding area against the heat.

   Claim component and remove. No jerky application of force required.

   Always work from the center of the component to the edge. Otherwise, there is a risk of delamination on the intact Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic part.

   IMPORTANT: The use of INFRARED EMITTERS is not permitted!

   If infrared emitters are used, Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic components located underneath can become damaged due to very high temperatures.

   Check the temperature of the Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic parts with a thermometer. At Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic components the temperature may not exceed 120°C for a maximum of 5 minutes!

3. Surging of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic components 

Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic components can be separated by means of surging.

Only insert the saw if the saw blade is completely visible during sawing.
