New Part Preparation
NOTE:
Perform the steps on the left and right side.
- Carry out severance cut (1) according to schematic diagram.
- Carry out the severance cut so that there is approximately 3 - 5 mm distance between the new part and vehicle. New part is welded in area of severance cut.
- Adjust new part in combination with the roof outer skin.
- Prepare new part in the areas (1) for joining through weld.
