• 51 2 040

Necessary preliminary work: 

• Remove luggage compartment storage compartment. See 51 47... REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT STORAGE COMPARTMENT .

Release impact plates (1) with special tool 51 2 040 .

Release expanding rivet (1).

Feed out trim (2).

Installation note: 

Ensure correct seat of rubber seal (2) on the cover (3).
