54 34... Topping up/extracting fluid, checking oil level

NOTE:

The hydraulic fluid does not have to be changed because the system is filled with life-time oil filling.
Only the approved hydraulic fluid may be used after a leak.
All hydraulic cylinders must be completely extended.
The hydraulic system is automatically bled in the oil reservoir

Support soft top compartment lid in SERVICE POSITION

Checking oil level:

The oil filler plug can be accessed through the sensor opening.

Unbutton the cover (1) of the rear window module and the cover of the hydraulics cover behind it.

Remove foam material from the sound insulation.

IMPORTANT: Protect components and work bay with suitable materials (e.g. cloths).
Oil level must be within the arrow (2) if the hydraulic unit is horizontal.
Undo oil filler plug (1).
Fill required oil quantity from the oil bottle or draw off using suitable auxiliary materials.
