51 64 010 Removing and installing/replacing left or right V-support

IMPORTANT: Driving without the V-support is not permitted (risk of damage to the body).

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Not in the case of 12-cylinder models:

Undo screw connection (1) on V-braces (2).

Tightening torque 51 61 6AZ .

Only in the case of 12-cylinder models:

Undo screw connection (2) on V-braces.

Tightening torque 51 61 6AZ .

Undo bolt (1) on V-brace (3) on left or right.

Tightening torque 51 11 7AZ .

Maneuver out V-support (3) upwards.

Installation note:

Hose pipe (2) for headlight washer system high-pressure nozzle (right) must be correctly clipped into place at marked points.
