11 51 055 Removing and installing/replacing auxiliary coolant pump for exhaust turbocharger (S55)

WARNING: Risk of scalding!
Only perform repair work after engine has cooled down.

Recycling:

Catch and dispose of drained coolant in a suitable collecting vessel.

Observe country-specific waste disposal regulations.

Necessary preliminary work:

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Unlock coolant line (2) and release.

Unlock coolant line (3) and release.

Release screws (1).

Remove auxiliary coolant pump with holder.

Installation note:

Install auxiliary coolant pump with holder.

Secure screws (1).

Tightening torque: 11 51 3AZ .

Installation note:

Clean the electric plug connections with compressed air and spray using CONTACT SPRAY 6.2 .

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Attach coolant line (2) to the coolant pump.

Attach coolant line (3) to the coolant pump.

All connectors must audibly engage.

Assemble engine.

BLEEDING INSTRUCTIONS must be observed without fail .
