IMPORTANT:
After completing repair work:
- Perform a functional check on the brake test stand to ensure compliance of the brake system with statutory guidelines.
- Carry out test braking while driving at low speed; the effectiveness of the brakes may be reduced during the brake slowly operations.
- For carbon ceramic brakes, brake pads and brake discs only achieve a favorable wear and contact pattern after approx. 1000 km.
Drive cautiously during this period!
- Advise the customer not to perform any wilful drastic braking in the first 200 km after brake replacement.
