54 12 497 Removing and installing/replacing wind deflector for glass slide/tilt sunroof
Open glass slide/tilt sunroof.
Carefully detach rubber stops from left and right of wind deflector (1) in direction of arrow.
Raise wind deflector (1) in vertical position in direction of arrow (A).
Pull left and right wind deflector (1) in direction of arrow (B) out of slide/tilt sunroof unit.
Installation note:
Make sure rubber stops are installed.
Position wind deflector with rubber stops under roof outer skin.
Make sure spring clamps (2) are correctly fitted in the slide/tilt sunroof unit.
Replacement only:
Screw wind deflector (1) with wire spring clip (2) on the left and right.
Tightening torque: 54 12 03AZ .
