4100 Grinding Steel Parts

  1. 1.0 Recommended tools and equipment 
    • Tools are recommended for manual grinding work.
    • Machines/equipment are recommended for machine grinding work.

    Many tools/machines/equipment are available via the applicable BMW workshop equipment catalogue.

  2. 2.0 Grinding outer shell and structure 

    Always replace abrasives which have already been used to treat aluminum (risk of corrosion).

    Do not grind the material thin.
