New release tools for electrical contacts BMW

Situation:  New contact systems are used on all 4-cylinder diesel engines (N47, N47S). Special release tools are needed to unlock these contacts correctly from their housings, in particular without causing damage. The release tools have been precisely adapted to the geometry of the contacts and the housing in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications.

The new release tools will be supplied in a separate case with comprehensive documentation. This case will also be used as a storage system for future release tools.

Procedure:  Release tools are part of the minimum requirement of special tools and are sent to every authorised BMW dealer with a tools agreement.
