Removing mechanics for panoramic roof cover

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Always install all parts of the repair kit.
Carry out the work on one side first and then shift on to the other side.

Always carry the panoramic roof (1) with the assistance of another person and only within the marked areas (2) .

Shift the mechanism manually until the guide (1) is accessible.
Unclip guide (1) with special tool 2 298 505and 0 493 681 (64 1 020) in the direction of the arrow .

Feed the guide (1) out in the direction of the arrow.

Shift the mechanism (1) manually until the slider (2) becomes visible above the aperture.
Detach the mechanism (1) in area (A) from the rail (3) toward the top.

Feed the guide (1) out of the rail (2).

Slide the mechanism (1) to the back until the slider (2) exits the rail (3).

Tilt the mechanism (1) up and feed it out of area (A) from the rail (2).

Flip the gate (1) outward until the slider (2) exits the rail (3).
Guide the gate (1) out upwards in the direction of the arrow.
