Replace wiring harness in the automatic transmission (AISIN F22AW) (X2 sDrive 28i 2018-2023)

Make a note of drained ATF quantity.

IMPORTANT:
Use only the APPROVED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION OILin this automatic
transmission.
Otherwise the automatic transmission may incur extensive damage!
Do not drain oil before the transmission has cooled down.

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove hydraulic shift unit.
Removal:
- Disconnect connector (1).
Unlock slide (1).
Pull wiring harness (1) out of transmission housing.
Installation:
Parts: Replace gaskets (2) and (3).
Insert wiring harness (1) into transmission.
IMPORTANT:
Connector of lug (1) must be fitted in transmission recess (2).
Parts: Replace slide (1).
Lock slide (1).
Connect and lock connector (1).
Required follow-up work:
- Install hydraulic shift unit.
