Remove The Bonnet Hinge

- Make sure that there is no charger connected to the jump start terminal in the engine compartment.
- Detach battery ground lead from battery.
- For auxiliary batteries: Detach battery minus cables from all auxiliary batteries.
Preliminary work

- Refer to REMOVING REAR HOOD SEAL .

- Refer to REMOVE THE ACTUATOR ON THE BONNET HINGE
- Release the jet chain (1) and bracket (arrow) on the hinge.
- Release screws (1) and remove bonnet hinge (2).
