NOTE:
Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
- Open the front door.
- Loosen screws (1) until the door can be shifted.
- Adjust height (Z) of door.
- Adjust width (Y) of door.
Check
- Check gap dimension between door and the adjacent body parts.
Result
» Gap dimensions do not correspond to the specifications.
Measure
- Adjust door
- Tighten the screws (1).TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
Front door to door hinge screw Tightening torque 40 Nm - Adjust lock striker
Precondition
The screws on lock striker are loosened so far that the lock striker can still be shifted.

Gap dimensions for body - Adjust the height of the lock striker so that the door lock does not bump or drag.
- Move lock striker sideways in order to adjust the gap dimensions between door and rear quarter panel.
- Tighten down screws (1).TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
Lock striker screw Tightening torque 21 Nm Check
- Check gap dimension between door and the adjacent body parts.
Result
