Remove The Right Rear Quarter Panel

- Mark separating cut (1) according to the specified dimensions.
Dimension a = 190 mm from the corner of the roof outer skin.
Dimension b = 125 mm from the corner of the side panel.
- Compare position of severance cut with reinforcement plate.
- Mark separating cut (1) according to the specified dimensions.
Dimension a = 90 mm.
Dimension b=128 mm.
Dimension c = 88 mm.
Dimension d = 60 mm.

Determination of separating cut using a template - Determine position of the severance cut in addition to the dimensions with the aid of a template (1).
- Make separating cut (1) on C-pillar in line with crack. Disconnect only the outer panel.
- Make separating cut (1) in the water channel between bolting points (2). Disconnect only the outer panel.
- Open welded connections in area (3).
- Compare position of severance cut with reinforcement plate.
- Mark and make separating cut (1) on side sill next to hole (2). Disconnect only the outer panel.
- Release the welded connections in the areas (1) to (3).
- Loosen side panel of cavity sealing (4).
- Open welded connections in area (1).
- Open the welded connections in areas (1) and (2) remove the side panel.
