Replace driving light sensor

Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING THE COVER ON THE INSIDE MIRROR .
- Refer to REMOVING THE INTERIOR MIRROR .
- Refer to REMOVING DRIVING LIGHT SENSOR .
- Replace driving light sensor.
Parts : Driving light sensor
- Carefully clean windscreen in contact area (1) of driving light sensor.
All silicone residues must be removed.
- Remove protective cover (1) from the new driving light sensor.NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE
Damage to silicone surface.
A damaged silicone surface can lead to malfunctioning of the rain-light-solar-condensation sensor.- Do not tap or damage the silicone-coated surface on the rain-light-solar-condensation sensor.
- After loosening lock, wait approx. 30 min. at 20°C for silicone surface to relax.
- Check silicone-coated surface (1) for damage.
