Removing the engine from the manual transmission

Loosen screws (1) .

Remove screws (arrows).

Move the table top (B) in the arrow direction away from the table top (A) and move the manual transmission (1) to the side.

Insert and position the special tool 2 459 012 on the cylinder head.

Tighten the screws (1) of the special tool 2 459 012 .

TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

Special tool to cylinder head
M8	Tightening torque	21.5 Nm

Attach the workshop crane with the special tool 0 490 579 (11 0 070) and raise the engine (1) from the lifting table.
