Prepare for the installation of the exhaust turbocharger

Check the screw-in depth (A) of the upper stud bolt (1) , if necessary screw in the stud bolt (1) further and unscrew it.

TECHNICAL DATA SPECIFICATION

Screw-in depth of upper stud bolts on cylinder head
	Dimension A	32 mm

If necessary, fix the stud bolt (1) with screw locking agent.
ADHESIVE SPECIFICATION

Screw lock Loctite 273, high strength 50 ml, Bottle 83190443083
NOTE:

Damage to the surface .
The use of metal-cutting tools (e.g., emery cloths) for cleaning surfaces can damage them and lead to leaks and/or engine damage .
- Do not use any metal-cutting tools.
Clean sealing surfaces on exhaust manifold and cylinder head (1) with special tool 0 495 102 (11 4 470) .

Check the nuts for correct fit in the order from (1) to (5) .

TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

Trim strip at the cylinder head
M7	tightening torque	18 Nm
