Install hood seal on left and right sides

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Installing seal for side hood

Check

Check latch mechanisms (1) and (2) and guide (3) on side hood seal (4) for damage.

Result

» Latch mechanisms (1), (2) or guide (3) are/is damaged.

Measure

Replace the hood seal on the side (4).

Insert the hood seal on the side (1) in the guide (4).
Clip in side hood seal (1) into inner latch mechanism (3) and outer latch mechanisms (2).
