Removing steering column shroud upper section

Preliminary work
- Refer to ADJUSTING THE STEERING COLUMN POSITION .
NOTE:
Perform the steps on the right and left side.
- Unclip the steering column shroud upper section (1) with the special tool 2 298 504 in area (2).
- Fold the steering column shroud upper section (1) up.
- Release the gap cover of the steering column (1) from the brackets (arrows) of the steering column shroud upper section.
- Remove steering column shroud upper section.
