51 43 000 Removing and installing/replacing rear left or right side trim panel (2' Series coupe models) (2' Series coupe and convertible, 2017-2021)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Refer to ARMREST SIDE SECTION .
- Refer to REAR SEAT .
- Refer to TRIM PANEL FOR ROOF PILLAR AT THE REAR (C-pillar)
IMPORTANT:
Risk of damage!
Lower section of side trim panel may separate from side trim panel upper section.
Detach edge protection (1) in area of side trim panel (3).
Release side trim panel (3) from clip (2) and clamps (4) and remove it.
Lower section of side trim panel may separate from side trim panel upper section.
Detach edge protection (1) in area of side trim panel (3).
Release side trim panel (3) from clip (2) and clamps (4) and remove it.
Installation note:
Replace faulty clips (2) and clamps (4).
Installation note:
Feed in side trim panel (1) in the area of the covers (2 and 3).
Position side trim panel (1) correctly against the clamps and clips and clip it in.
