51 45 031 Replacing instrument panel trim (2' Series coupe and convertible, 2017-2021)
Necessary preliminary work:
- Refer to REMOVING CENTRAL INFORMATION DISPLAY .
- Refer to REMOVING INSTRUMENT TRIM PANEL TRIM .
- Refer to REMOVING THE LIGHT OPERATING UNIT .
- Refer to REMOUNT THE VENTILATION GRILL .
Press gap cover (2) of steering column at left and right slightly inward in direction of arrow and lever out at top, then remove completely.
Remount the PASSENGER'S SIDE AIRBAG UNIT (1) .
Remount the air ducts (2).
If necessary, replace and remount faulty mounting elements (3).
If necessary, remount other mounting elements that are not included with the new part.
