Disconnecting and connecting battery earth lead (2016-2022)
WARNING:

Observe notes on voltage supply/INTELLIGENT BATTERY SENSOR (IBS) .
Necessary preliminary work:
- Lift luggage compartment floor
NOTE:
With lead-acid battery:
Loosen nut (1).
Tightening torque 61 21 1AZ .
CAUTION:
Do not under any circumstances use force to pull off negative terminal.
Pull off battery earth lead (2) and IBS in an upward direction, place to one side and secure.
NOTE:
With lead-acid battery (F3x only).
Loosen nut (1).
Tightening torque 61 21 1AZ .
CAUTION:
Do not under any circumstances use force to pull off negative terminal.
Pull off battery negative lead and IBS (2) in an upward direction, place to one side and secure.
