Removing and installing/replacing carbon strut (2016-2022)

Attention! 

Driving without carbon strut is not permitted! (risk of damage to the body).

Necessary preliminary work: 

• Remove LEFT AND RIGHT COVER IN ENGINE COMPARTMENT .

Removal: 

Release the screws (1 to 3).

Feed out the carbon strut.

Installation: 

Feed in the carbon strut.

Tighten down the screws (1).

Tightening torque 51 61 11AZ .

Tighten down screw (2).

Tighten down the screws (3).

Tightening torque 51 61 12AZ .

Required reworking: 

• INSTALL LEFT AND RIGHT COVER IN ENGINE COMPARTMENT .
