Removing and installing/replacing support for front bumper panel (2016-2022)

Necessary preliminary work:

Removal:

If necessary, unlock plug connection in area (1) and disconnect.

Release screws (2) on left/right and remove corresponding counter support on the other side.

NOTE: It may only be possible to remove the screws (2) completely once all the screws (2) have been released.

Remove support (3) towards front.

Installation:

Replacement:

Check impact absorber. Replace damaged impact absorbers.

Insert support (3).

Insert screws (2) on left/right with corresponding counter support.

Tighten screws (2).

Tightening torque 51 11 4AZ .

If necessary, connect connector in area (1).
