Installing rear wheel speed sensor

• Clean the bore for the wheel speed sensor and grease it with lubricating grease (see applicable BMW parts catalogue).

  Lubricating grease Staburags NBU 12K

  100 g, Tube

  83 23 9 407 810

• Install rear wheel speed sensor.
• Position and tighten the screw (2).
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
  
  

  Rear wheel speed sensor on wheel carrier
  Replace screw.	tightening torque	12 Nm

• Hook the cable of the wheel speed sensor into the holders (1).
• Hook the cable of the wheel speed sensor into the holders (1).
• Connect the plug connection (2).

• Mount the wheel arch cover (2).
• Replace the plastic nuts (1).
