• 11 65 Turbocharger
  • 11 65 020 Removing and installing/replacing exhaust turbocharger (740i 2016-2022)
    • Remove exhaust turbocharger
    • When replacing the exhaust turbocharger: Dismount the oil coolant lines
    • Prepare for the installation of the exhaust turbocharger
    • Installing exhaust turbocharger
  • 11 65 803 Replace electrical controller drive for wastegate (740i 2016-2022, 740i xDrive 2017-2022)
    • Remove the electric wastegate valve actuator
    • Install electric wastegate valve actuator
    • For electrical wastegate valve controller: teaching in and checking end stops with the diagnostic system (after vehicle diagnosis)
  • 11 65 020 Removing and installing/replacing exhaust turbocharger (740i xDrive 2017-2022)
    • Remove exhaust turbocharger
    • When replacing the exhaust turbocharger: Dismount the oil coolant lines
    • Prepare for the installation of the exhaust turbocharger
    • Installing exhaust turbocharger
  • 11 65 020 Removing and installing/replacing exhaust turbocharger (740e xDrive PHEV 2017-2019)
    • Remove exhaust turbocharger
    • Prepare for the installation of the exhaust turbocharger
    • Installing exhaust turbocharger
  • 11 65 020 Removing and installing/replacing exhaust turbocharger (745e xDrive PHEV 2020-2022)
    • Remove exhaust turbocharger
    • When replacing the exhaust turbocharger: Dismount the oil coolant lines
    • Prepare for the installation of the exhaust turbocharger
    • Installing exhaust turbocharger
  • 11 65 803 Replace electrical controller drive for wastegate (745e xDrive PHEV 2020-2022)
    • Remove the electric wastegate valve actuator
    • Install electric wastegate valve actuator
    • For electrical wastegate valve controller: teaching in and checking end stops with the diagnostic system (after vehicle diagnosis)
  • 11 65 025 Removing and installing/replacing the right exhaust turbocharger (750i 2016-2019)
    • Close the oil holes on the exhaust turbocharger
    • Release the banjo bolt for the coolant line feed line at the exhaust turbocharger of cylinders 1 to 4
    • Remove the exhaust turbocharger for the cylinders 1 to 4
    • Disconnecting the plug connection on the wastegate valve controller for cylinders 1 to 4
    • Replacing the oil return line
    • Replace the seal for the exhaust gas turbocharger
    • Installing the exhaust turbocharger for the cylinders 1 to 4
    • Fastening the banjo bolt for the coolant feed line on the exhaust turbocharger of cylinders 1 through 4
  • 11 65 030 Removing and installing/replacing left exhaust turbocharger (750i 2016-2019)
    • Remove exhaust turbocharger for cylinders 5 to 8
    • Close the oil holes on the exhaust turbocharger
    • Replacing the oil return line
    • Replace the seal for the exhaust gas turbocharger
    • Insert the exhaust turbocharger for the cylinders 5 to 8
  • 11 65 185 Removing and installing/replacing lower heat shield (750i 2016-2019)
    • Remove lower heat shield
    • Install lower heat shield
  • 11 65 025 Removing and installing/replacing the right exhaust turbocharger (750i xDrive 2016-2022)
    • Remove the exhaust turbocharger for the cylinders 1 to 4
    • When replacing the right exhaust turbocharger: Remount components
    • Installing the exhaust turbocharger for the cylinders 1 to 4
  • 11 65 030 Removing and installing/replacing left exhaust turbocharger (750i xDrive 2016-2022)
    • Remove the exhaust turbocharger for the cylinders 5 to 8
    • When replacing the left-hand exhaust turbocharger: Remount components
    • Insert the exhaust turbocharger for the cylinders 5 to 8
  • 11 65 048 Removing and installing/replacing both exhaust turbochargers (750i xDrive 2016-2022)
    • Removing the left and right exhaust turbocharger
    • When replacing the left and right exhaust turbocharger: Remount components
    • Installing both exhaust turbochargers
  • 11 65 180 Removing and installing/replacing top heat shield (750i xDrive 2016-2022)
    • Remove upper heat shield
    • Install heat shield, top
  • 11 65 185 Removing and installing/replacing lower heat shield (750i xDrive 2016-2022)
    • Remove lower heat shield
    • Install lower heat shield
