Install front ornamental grille

Precondition 

Engine compartment lid is open.

• Check all the detents (2) for damage; if necessary, replace the front ornamental grille (1).
• Position front ornamental grille (1) at the upper latch mechanisms (2). Do not yet  lock the detents (2) in place.
• Position front ornamental grille (1) at the lower latch mechanisms. Do not yet  lock the detents in place.
• Press on all locking positions of the front ornamental grille (1) until all latch mechanisms are audibly engaged.

• Take a tensile sample on the front ornamental grille (1).
• Using both hands, grip each of the kidney grille fin as shown and pull on it to test the tight fit of the front ornamental grille (1).
• If necessary, press the front ornamental grille (1) on at all the detents again.
