51 24 133 Removing and installing/replacing drive for Soft Close Automatic on rear lid (soft closure aid)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove LEFT CLOSING LIGHT
Remove REAR LID TRIM PANEL

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Release screws (2) and feed out drive (3).

Tightening torque 51 24 9AZ

Feed Bowden cable out of REAR LID LOCK .

Installation:

Make sure Bowden cable (1) is correctly positioned in rear lid.

Lay Bowden cable (1) without kinks.
