Removing and installing/replacing oil-to-water heat exchanger (B46/B48 4-Cyl. Engine) (4' Series Coupe/Convertible, 4' Series Gran Coupe Sedan)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove FULL-FLOW OIL FILTER .

Removal: 

Release all screws from oil-to-water heat exchanger (1).

Remove oil-to-water heat exchanger (1) from full-flow oil filter.

Installation: 

Replace gaskets (1, 2 and 3).

Clean sealing surface (1).

Position oil-to-water heat exchanger (1) on full-flow oil filter.

Tighten all screws on oil-to-water heat exchanger (1).

Tightening torque 11 42 9AZ .

Required follow-up work: 

• Install FULL-FLOW OIL FILTER .
• Assemble engine
