Removing and installing/replacing auxiliary coolant pump for exhaust turbocharger (B46/B48 4-Cyl. Engine) (4' Series Coupe/Convertible, 4' Series Gran Coupe Sedan)

Recycling
Coolant emerges when coolant lines are detached. Have a suitable collecting vessel ready.
Catch and dispose of emerging coolant.
Observe country-specific waste disposal regulations.
Necessary preliminary work:
- Remove FRONT ACOUSTIC COVER .
- Drain COOLANT .
Removal:
Unlock and detach coolant hose (1).
Unlock and disconnect connector (2).
Loosen screws (1) and remove coolant pump (2).
Replacement:
Slacken nut (1),
Remount holder (3) from the coolant pump (2),
Installation:
Position coolant pump (2).
Tighten down screws (1).
Tightening torque 11 51 6AZ .
Connect connector (2).
Lock and connect coolant line (1).
Required follow-up work:
- Attach FRONT ACOUSTIC COVER .
- Fill COOLING SYSTEM .
