Remove and install/replace coolant feed line for exhaust turbocharger (B46/B48 4-Cyl. Engine) (4' Series Coupe/Convertible, 4' Series Gran Coupe Sedan)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Drain COOLANT .
• Remove CATALYTIC CONVERTER .

Removal: 

Attention! 

Remaining coolant can escape.

Release screw (1).

Pull off coolant feed line (3) from the engine block.

Release screw (2).

Pull off coolant feed line (3) from the exhaust turbocharger.

Installation: 

Parts:  Replace O-rings (1).

Position coolant feed line (3).

Tighten screw (2).

Tightening torque 11 53 1AZ .

Tighten screw (1).

Tightening torque 11 53 2AZ .

Required follow-up work: 

• Install CATALYTIC CONVERTER .
• Top up COOLANT .
