Replacing vacuum hose for brake booster (4' Series Coupe/Convertible, 4' Series Gran Coupe Sedan)
Necessary preliminary work:
- Read and comply with GENERAL INFORMATION .
- Remove the left engine compartment COVER .
Attention!
Before beginning work, fully press the brake pedal several times to reduce the vacuum pressure in the brake servo. This makes it easier to pull off the vacuum hose.
Unlock quick-release fastener (1) and pull out vacuum line (2).
Unlock quick-release coupling (1) and detach vacuum line.
Disconnect vacuum hose (2) from vacuum line.
Release vacuum hose at clamp (3) and remove.
