Removing and installing (replacing) the headlight driver module (4' Series Coupe/Convertible, 4' Series Gran Coupe Sedan)
WARNING:
FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS FOR HANDLING BULBS/LIGHT SOURCES (EXTERIOR LIGHTS)! .
Disconnect all components from voltage supply before removal.
Disconnect all components from voltage supply before removal.
Necessary preliminary tasks:
NOTE:
If the retaining clip (2) is present, the central connector on the headlight cannot be disconnected!
Release screw (1) and remove retaining clip (2) if necessary.
NOTE:
Headlight is shown removed for purposes of clarity.
If necessary, unlock and disconnect the central connector from the headlight.
Release screws (1).
Pull headlight driver module (2) out of headlight (3).
Installation note:
Gasket (1) must not be damaged and must be installed free from grease.
Replacement:
Teach in headlight driver module (1) via vehicle diagnosis.

- Code the FEM (if FEM is installed in the vehicle)
